Golden Fadz opened on Baker Street to give Gosford a proper barber shop. Black walls, gold chairs, decent music, and someone who actually asks what you want before the clippers come out.

Every cut starts with a conversation. Clean line-up, beard tidy-up, or a full change — we work out the shape first, then cut to it.

Ali and Meihana work the two chairs: classic barbering technique, current styles, and products that hold past lunchtime. Walk-ins are always welcome — we just look after booked customers first, so if you're on a tight schedule, grab a slot.

Before you come in

Do I need to book, or can I just walk in?
Both work. Walk-ins are welcome any time we're open, but booked customers get seen first, so you might wait during busy periods. Booking online takes about thirty seconds.
How much is a haircut?
A cut with a skin fade is $50, or $45 with a zero fade. High school students are $45 and $40, under-10s are $40 and $35, and seniors are $40 and $35. A buzz cut or head shave is $30. Full list is on the price board.
What are your opening hours?
Tuesday to Saturday 9:00am–6:00pm, Sunday 9:00am–1:00pm, closed Mondays.
Where exactly are you, and is there parking?
4 Baker Street, Gosford NSW 2250 — about a five minute walk from Gosford station, with street and carpark options nearby. We get customers in from Erina, Terrigal, Narara, Wyoming, Point Clare and right across the Central Coast.
Do you cut kids' hair?
Yep. Under-10s are $35 with a zero fade or $40 with a skin fade, and high school students are $40 and $45. If your kid does better in a quieter shop, weekday mornings are usually the calmest.
What clippers and products do you use?
Wahl and BaByliss on the clippers, finished with Proraso, The Shave Factory, Immortal, Elegance and Hepike. Ask if you want to take something home.
